Jennarosa's
Gallery was founded in 1980 in a small town called Gisborne New
Zealand.
After moving onto Australia in 1990 Jennarosa decided to work with the
community, especially people that could not leave their
houses due to restrictions
of illnesses or some type of disability.
Jennarosa
stated that there is no such thing as disability, we are able
and it is ability.
The
community gallery grew from there, where stay at home Mum’s
with children
joined the outlet, so that they had some type of hobby interest.
This
was a meeting place where all could share their creativity.
Whether it
was beaded jewellery, writing stories, knitting, crocheting, fine art
paintings, photography, this was a way to work together within the
community,
and sell Hand made items through the gallery store and at Market
festivals in
surrounding areas.
Jennarosa
also started a writing book club in the year 2000 gevania book club
along with a
music club gevaniamusic.com
This
was an idea that Jennarosa created for Collaboration
Independent Artists.
After
Jennarosa’s being diagnosed with squamous
carcinoma
cancer, Sugar
diabetes, diverticulitis, Fibromyalgia she has
become an able person working with
different students, clients via the Internet, which has become a
success in the
music and book club.
